If We Host It, Will They Come?

This week's spin cycle theme is the holiday news letter, and it just so happens that I have some actual news, AND it's the holiday season, so I think now is the perfect time to make an announcement!

See, I've been talking to a few blogging pals of mine, namely Steenky Bee, Deemarie and Stiletto Mom (she is the sole reason I know how to spell "stiletto," btw) about how much fun it would be to have a get together of our very own. While I love the spirit of that other she-blogger convention, I could really do without all the pomp and circumstance of keynote speakers and workshops and the stress of whether I'd actually be invited to a party or whether I'd be dining alone. So that is why we have been thinking about coming up with an alternative...

Without further ado, I'd like to invite you to the beautiful town of Estes Park, Colorado!

Cool factoid: The Stanley Hotel was the inspiration for the story The Shining, by Stephen King. Now who's up for a ghost tour?

ITINERARY: You, us. Food. Wine. (If that's your thing. Substitute the beverage of your choice.) Shopping. Rocky Mountain highs.

Now doesn't that sound like the kind of girls' weekend you can sink your teeth into?

That's more than SEVEN MONTHS to plan and save. Try to let us know by the end of February if you think you can come. Depending on how many people are interested, I'll contact the hotel and see if we can get group rates.
