Heck Yeah I Did

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

[breath...]

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I sure as heck did go see this! All by myself.

And the 7:10 show sure was sold out. And I sure did wait for the 7:45. By myself.

And yes, the theatre was 85% girls under the age of 15. And yes, I was the only solo patron there on a Friday night.

And yes, it was totally, completely worth it.

And yeah, it is the hottest PG-13 movie you will ever see. No question.

I gotta say, I was not a fan of the choice of Robert Pattinson to play the role of Edward.

That was before I saw the movie.

What can I say now? I'm a believer! I caught myself grinning like an idiot at the screen several times during the movie.

My opinion is that if you haven't read the books, you will probably hate this movie. BUT, if you read the books and got hooked like I did?

Heck yeah, baby. Go get your Edward on.

Heck yeah I've got my Edward on! And heck yeah I'm going to live vicariously through you!!!!
I am SO HAPPY for you that you went to this movie tonight!!!
(I live in Oregon and much of the movie was shot here and in Washington State. Ooh Baby! The energy is flowing tonight. So many parties happening all over the town. It just feels good to feel good sometimes, right?)
I'm going to grab a very large goblet of wine right now. Hubby and I fly out to Chicago in the early morn. (I'm not a good flier. Perhaps a large Bloody Mary before boarding is in order!)

Good for you for going on your own! I hope to see it by the end of the weekend. I will probably be the only person over 15 when I go too!

Very good going on your own! Glad you enjoyed it.

I was wondering if it was everything you had hoped it to be!! Glad you made it. I'm trying to finish the book quick so I can see it before it's out of the theaters. Talk to you later, sister!!

Awesome for you! Somehow I missed these books. Which is odd considering I was a huge Anne Rice vampire addict. Might have to check them out.

I totally agree-loved every milisecond of the whole thing!!!

Your such an overgrown teenager, just kidding. My hubby wants me to see it, I guess I can for the eye candy.

No one wants to go with me. They're all suffering from Twilight overload.
I might have to go solo this week on my vacation.

I am totally going to get the books. I love to read, and am always looking for a great series because it means you get several good books without having to do more research into a new author.

I am glad you went to the movies by yourself on Friday - I love going to the movies by myself!

No way! I also did a Twilight sqeeeeee post. Only I wasn't sqeeeeeing, my wife and daughter were.

Glad you had a good time!

I am totally un-twilighted but forwarded this post to a friend who is likely to become as big a fan as I am of yours :-) Also, Jack is looking at this and asked if that picture was "me the night I was sick?" LOL And he wants to know if Claire was him in the hospital? Seriously vain ;-) Happy weekend! Maybe I'll go to a movie by myself tonite...

Glad you got to get out, I love seeing movies by myself. What's the point of bringing someone with, you're not going to talk while you're watching...

While I have no interest in that particular movie (vampires are creepy, doooood), I'm so excited to read that I'm not the only mom who goes to movies by herself. On Friday nights. With lots of teenagers around. It's somehow liberating, isn't it? Oh, and you don't have to share your popcorn. :)

man, I can't wait. I am going to try to sneak away tomorrow.
I loved the books. Read them all in a week. Could not put them down

Did I read right? You went by yourself? I totally do this! I totally do this! Also!!! This was the first post I read about anyone going to see this! I thought for sure that the interweb would be lousy with these this weekend, but no, this is the first! Congrats. I'm totally going next week.

Also, I need to email you tonight. Aw, hell, I just might go crazy and call you. Dah-dah- dah!!

haha i too went by myself. no one wanted to go with me. actually i think sometimes its better to go by yourself.

i read all 4 books in a week and a half. i liked the movie because it plays to the hopeless romantic in me. but i feel it just missed the mark in doing the book justice. then again i do believe the book is almost ALWAYS better than the movie adaptations. despite that i will be buying it as soon as it hits DVD and i will be at the theater as soon as New Moon is released. dare i admit i am 30+1 and addicted to a book series geared towards young adults? sheesh.

Ok, so tell me this. I have not read the book. So...should I read the book or see the movie first?

Also, I saw that Edward dude interviewed on The Today Show? It's a good thing he's pretty bc he ain't got much going on in the brain department. That said, I'd still get my Edward on. Well, if he weren't practically a child and if I weren't, you know, married and all.

I did read the book. I did get totally hooked. There are days I wish there was a mysterious book 5 lurking around out there...but sadly there isn't. I did go see the movie despite my reservations of casting choice. And I did FALL IN LOVE WITH THE MOVIE. And the cast. LOVE I tell you!

I'm going to buy this when it comes out on DVD. I will also be seing each subsequent sequel & buying those too. I'm that hooked.

Stephenie Meyer made crack into a book series called Twilight. Swear to god. I have withdrawls from nothing "good to read." I've never been so hooked on a book before.

Best part about this is I'm not even a tween girl. And I saw it with my cousin & my aunt who is younger, hip and also not a tween girl.

K sorry, done rambling in your comments now! LOL.
